M.V. Tile, Marble, & Granite, Inc., is a family owned and operated flooring company located in Tampa, Florida that started in early 2000 as a ceramic tile retail store servicing the Tampa Bay area.  In 2002, the business reorganized to function as both a direct retailer and as a supplier of tile to other retailers.  Thus, the business formally transitioned into an import business with vendors (manufacturers) based in Europe and South America.

Since then, the company has grown from a tile and carpet retail business to a complete flooring and installation service company targeting now the medium to high-end market. This is the result of an aggressive campaign designed to attract smaller to medium size international manufacturers, particularly in Europe (Italy and Spain) and South America, (Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Argentina and Bolivia). Because of its competitive features, we now also include the Chinese flooring products including porcelain tile and hardwood. Our company is able to offer a concentrated effort in the promotion of products manufactured by these smaller and diverse, but more competitive, vendors.

Among our future plans is the expansion into the flooring and construction business with natural stone and tropical hardwood products. South America, with countries like Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, and Bolivia, and Asia, with countries as China, Japan and Indonesia, are a significant source of natural stone products and hardwood products. These types of products (travertine, marble and granite in stones, and Teak, Mahogany, Ipe, Timborana, Tauari, Santos Mahogany, etc in tropical hardwoods) have great appeal with today’s consumers. The demand for natural products has grown consistently in the last 5 years. 

MV Tile has been developing and/or maintaining client relationships in Latin America and Europe. We are currently doing business more than a dozen companies from Europe, South America and Asia. Our goal is to be able to consistently provide high quality materials, from dependable sources, at very good prices. We can pass those same benefits to our customers and additionally provide them with the best quality installation service for the future enjoyment of their new or remodeled homes.
